Knights of Columbus

Who are the Knights of Columbus?
The Knights of Columbus is a lay Catholic family fraternal service organization. It's members are Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of the principles of charity (First Degree), Unity (Second Degree), Fraternity (Third Degree), Patriotism (Fourth Degree), and to the defense of the church, the preservation and defense of the family and our country. The Order is consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was on these bedrock principles that the order was founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney in Newhaven, Conn.

Membership and Benefits
Membership is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the church and who are at least 18 years old. Applications forms are available from any member of the K of C Council. As a member of the Knights of Columbus you and your family enjoy many benefits including receiving issues of the Columbia Magazine, and eligibility for the Knights of Columbus life insurance and annuity programs.
